Gambling Licensing Using Auctions: Presentation by Sergio Suárez from Gaming Laboratories International

What are the features of the gambling licensing auction system? How successfully is such a mechanism applied in different countries? These issues will be revealed by Sergio Suárez from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) at Kyiv iGaming Affiliate Conference on December 18.

The speaker will make a presentation: Application of the auction mechanism in licensing of operators.

Sergio Suárez has been working at Gaming Laboratories International, an independent laboratory engaged in gambling software and hardware testing, for more than eight years.

Sergio started his career at GLI as Test Engineer. He was in charge of testing software and hardware for gaming machines and systems. Besides, he was a member of the compliance department.

Currently, the expert is Senior Technical Compliance Engineer. He advises regulatory authorities of different countries, engineers, and other concerned parties on compliance matters in online and offline gambling. His area of expertise includes European markets.

Sergio will examine the application of the licensing auction mechanism along with Nadya Hambach, a gambling law expert at Velchev & Co.
